“Navigating the Ethical Landscape of AI Governance: Insights from the 1st International Workshop at IJCAI 2024”

The 1st International Workshop on “AI Governance: Ethics, Policy, and Law” (AIGOV) is coming to IJCAI 2024, Aug 3rd, 2024 in Jeju, South Korea. This event offers a unique platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore the complexities of AI governance, focusing on ethical, legal, and societal dimensions. With the increasing integration of AI technologies in various sectors, the need for effective governance frameworks and best practices is more crucial than ever. AIGOV aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of these principles, covering topics such as AI alignment methods, transparency and accountability, and human-AI collaboration. Submissions, in the form of 7-page papers or 2-page abstracts, are invited on these and related themes. The double-blind review process will ensure rigorous evaluation.
