The Research Training Group 2853 “Neuroexplicit Models of Language, Vision, and Action” at Saarland University, Germany is inviting applications for 12 PhD positions in the field of Neuroexplicit models. The PhD positions are funded for four years at the TV-L E1 100% pay scale and are intended to start in September 2025.

The RTG is looking for candidates who have or are about to complete an MSc degree in computer science or a related field and have demonstrated expertise in one of the research areas of the RTG. Each PhD student will be jointly supervised by two PhD advisors from the list of Principal Investigators and will be able to freely define their own research topic.
