The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) is inviting applications for its New Faculty Highlights Call for Proposals. This program aims to highlight AI researchers who have recently begun careers as new faculty members or equivalent positions in industry. Selected speakers will be given a 30-minute talk to broadly survey their research to date, with several talks released online and archived as part of the conference program. Invited speakers will also be invited to contribute an article to a corresponding series in AI Magazine. To qualify, applicants must have taken up a faculty position or equivalent in industry between July 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024. The application deadline is October 23, 2024.
