Inria Lille is seeking a PhD student, interns, and an engineer to join the Adada ANR-funded project, which aims to bridge the gap between Large Language Models (LLMs) and symbolic AI techniques for reliable reasoning. The project focuses on developing a general problem-generation framework, creating multiple types of symbolic problem generators, fine-tuning language models, and addressing the challenge of generating high-quality problems.

The PhD student will design new methods for steerable problem generation, while interns will construct and evaluate dataset generators for specific niche problems. The engineer will be responsible for software development, focusing on creating a generic problem generation framework and implementing abstractions that allow users to quickly implement new tasks and generate/validate training examples.

Required skills include strong knowledge of deep learning, autonomy, critical thinking, a strong scientific background, knowledge of NLP, interest in formal algorithms, proficiency in English, programming skills in Python, deep learning and statistics background, and knowledge of logic and symbolic AI is appreciated.
