New Professorship (W3, full) in Language Technology at Saarland University/DFKI, Germany

The successful candidate will have expertise in natural language processing and machine learning/AI methodologies, with experience in dialogue systems, reinforcement learning, foundation models, and/or trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. The position involves a dual appointment as a university professor and scientific director at DFKI, leading a research department. Candidates should have a proven track record in acquiring external research funding, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration with industrial partners.
