New Research Assistant Position at Goethe University Frankfurt

A new research assistant position is available at Goethe University Frankfurt’s Institute of Computer Science. The position is for a period of three years and is part of the DFG project "Semiautomated Thematic Text Classification as a Basis for Corpus Linguistic Value-Added Services." The project aims to develop a deep learning-based topic classification system using the Wikipedia category system and data from the Wikidata project. The research assistant will be expected to engage in the project and actively participate in courses, workshops, and events. Requirements include a completed academic degree in computer science or a related field, experience in the development and testing of NLP or AI methods, and extensive programming knowledge in Java, Python or similar.
