New Special Issue on Language Model Representation in Applied Sciences

A new special issue has been announced in the journal Applied Sciences, focusing on the atomic units used in mapping natural language into vector space for language models. The issue, titled Atoms of Representation in Natural Language Processing, invites submissions on topics such as novel tokenization schemas, benchmarks and analyses of tokenizer effectiveness, token-free representation schemas, and theoretical contributions addressing the expressive power or limitations of various textual representation methodologies.
