A new survey has been announced by a team of CogSci/NLP researchers from the IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark, focusing on the definition and role of the term ‘intelligence’ in AI and NLP research. The survey aims to gather insights on the agreement level among researchers in different fields regarding the meaning of ‘intelligence’, its impact on their research agendas, and their perception of current systems based on large language models such as ChatGPT. The survey is available until December 18 and can be accessed at this link. Your participation is highly appreciated and all responses will be kept anonymous and used for research purposes only. The results will be made publicly available under a Creative Commons-Attribution-Non-Commercial license.
