A new survey has been announced by a team of CogSci/NLP researchers from the IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark, focusing on the definition and role of the term ‘intelligence’ in AI and NLP research. The survey aims to gather insights on the agreement level among researchers in different fields regarding the meaning of ‘intelligence’, its impact on their research agendas, and their perception of current systems based on large language models such as ChatGPT.
