The 13th edition of NLP4CALL, the workshop on Natural Language Processing for Computer-Assisted Language Learning, will take place in Rennes, France, on October 25-26, 2024. This two-day event aims to bring together researchers and professionals working on the integration of Natural Language Processing and Speech Technologies in CALL systems. The workshop will feature paper presentations, poster and demo sessions, and invited talks by Helen Yannakoudakis (King’s College London) and Kristopher Kyle (University of Oregon).

A special focus will be given to systems relying on AI trained for ICALL tasks, such as fine tuning Large Language Models and supervised-learning methods based on learning analytics. Issues related to data in SLA and learner corpus such as collection and feature extraction are also welcome.
