Optimization for Robotics Summer School 2025 – Registrations Open
Registrations are now open for the Optimization for Robotics Summer School 2025, held at the University of Patras, Greece. Learn from leading experts in the field.
The Optimization for Robotics Summer School 2025 is now accepting registrations. This event, organized by the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Model-Based Optimization for Robotics and the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Whole Body Control, will take place from July 14 to July 18, 2025, at the University of Patras in Patras, Greece.
The summer school is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of optimization techniques and their applications in robotics. The curriculum includes:
- Fundamental Mathematics and Numerical Algorithms of Optimization
- Robotics Applications from a Unified Optimization Perspective
- Hands-On Coding Exercises
Applications are encouraged from master students, PhD students, early-career researchers, and faculty members with a background in robotics, mechatronics, or related fields.
Confirmed speakers include leading experts such as Hae-Won Park from KAIST, Andrea Del Prete from the University of Trento, and Yuval Tassa from Google DeepMind.
