The Trustworthy Robotics Lab at Georgia Tech, led by Assistant Professor Glen Chou, is seeking multiple PhD students for Fall 2025. The lab focuses on designing algorithms for general-purpose robots and autonomous systems that operate capably, safely, and securely with humans. Research areas include scalable and formally-verified robotic control synthesis, trustworthy learning-based planning and control, and safe and secure human-robot interaction. Applicants should have a background in robotics, control theory, machine learning, or optimization, and proficiency in programming. Experience with real robots, ROS, and excellent communication skills are also desirable.
