PhD Opportunity in Autonomous Systems at Rochester Institute of Technology
The Khojasteh Autonomous Systems Laboratory (KAS Lab) at Rochester Institute of Technology is recruiting highly motivated students to engage in multidisciplinary research in the field of autonomous systems. The lab offers a dynamic and collaborative research environment where students gain valuable experience in the theoretical and practical aspects of cutting-edge technologies.
Required qualifications include a strong mathematical background, proficiency in programming, and an interest in hardware implementation. Experience in machine learning, data-driven optimization and control, or statistical signal processing is desirable. The lab is seeking candidates who are eager to collaborate on developing foundations, designing algorithms, and performing demonstrations in areas related to autonomous robot systems, applied ocean science, and quantum engineering.
