PhD Position at University of Amsterdam on Causality and RL

A fully paid 4-year PhD position is available at the University of Amsterdam to research learning concepts with theoretical guarantees using causality and reinforcement learning (RL). This project is a collaboration between the Amsterdam Machine Learning Lab (AMLab) and the Sequential Decision Making group at TU Delft, and is part of the Hybrid Intelligence Center. The position offers a gross monthly salary between €2,901 and €3,707, along with 8% holiday pay and 8.3% year-end bonus.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
- MSc degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
- Work under the supervision of Sara Magliacane, Frans Oliehoek, and Herke van Hoof.
- Participate in the Hybrid Intelligence Center project.
