PhD Position in Generative Models of 3D and 4D Human Shape

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join the 4DShape project, a collaborative effort between France and the USA. The project aims to develop a natural framework for embedding and generating human body and face surfaces, regardless of their parameterization or discretization.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in artificial intelligence, data science, computer vision, or applied mathematics. Proficiency in Python, computer vision, and deep learning techniques is required. Knowledge of 3D data processing and fluency in English are appreciated.

This PhD position is part of the 4DShape project, funded by ANR and NSF, and will be supervised by Mohamed Daoudi, Sylvain Arguillère, Martin Bauer, and Nicolas Charon. The successful candidate will collaborate with researchers from Florida State University and the University of Houston and is expected to visit the USA partners yearly.
