PhD Position in Human-Robot Sensorimotor Augmentation at University of Lisbon
The Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Sciences – University of Lisbon is offering a PhD position in the field of Human-Robot Sensorimotor Augmentation (HARIA). The successful candidate will work on the development of robust methods for human-robot interaction under the supervision of experienced researchers.
Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or a related field. A background in Robotics, Machine Learning, HCI, HRI, or Accessible computing is desirable. Experience in programming (C++, Python) and scientific writing are also advantageous.
The deadline for applications is July 15th, and the starting date is flexible from September 2024. The contract is a Portuguese PhD contract, with more information available here.
