PhD Position in Interpretable Machine Learning and Explainable AI at the University of Munich, Germany

Join the Interpretable Machine Learning & Explainable AI research group at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München, led by Prof. Dr. Bernd Bischl, a director of the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML). The research will focus on advancing interpretation methods for machine learning models trained on tabular data. During your Ph.D., you will conduct research on a wide range of interpretation methods, including regional explanations and innovative methods aimed at enhancing the overall explainability of ML models. The position is fully funded for 3 years with potential for extension, and offers a supportive scientific environment, opportunities for international networking and exchange, and comprehensive support and close collaboration with experienced researchers.
