The Robot Learning Lab at the University of Freiburg, led by Prof. Abhinav Valada, is offering two full-time PhD positions in AI for robot navigation and perception. Candidates with a Master’s degree in computer science, robotics, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- PhD position in AI for Perception and SLAM: Prior research experience in scene graphs, SLAM, foundation models, or visual localization is required.
- PhD position in AI for Robot Navigation: Prior research experience in planning and reasoning, reinforcement learning, or foundation models is required.
