The AI&ML group at Universitat Pompeu Fabra is seeking candidates for PhD positions in Reinforcement Learning (RL), including Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning (HRL), Constrained Reinforcement Learning (CRL), and Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL).
Ideal candidates should hold a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, and be fluent in English with a strong academic record and mathematical abilities.
Experience in Python with machine learning libraries, such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, is highly valued.
The position involves conducting research, developing and testing new algorithms, contributing to publications, and collaborating with academic and industry partners.
This is a fully funded position, covering a stipend, tuition fees, and travel expenses for up to four years.
