PhD Positions in AI Security at Aalborg University Copenhagen

Four fully funded PhD positions in AI Security at Aalborg University Copenhagen, exploring NLP and Cybersecurity.

We are pleased to announce four fully funded PhD positions at the AI:DEFENCE Lab at Aalborg University, exploring the intersection of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Cybersecurity.

Research topics include:

• Security and safety in Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Adversarial robustness and alignment
• Federated learning and privacy-preserving AI
• Autonomous cyber defense using multi-agent systems and reinforcement learning

Applicants with strong backgrounds in NLP, machine learning, or cybersecurity are welcome to apply. The lab is based in Copenhagen, and the positions start in August 2025.
