PhD Scholarship in Culture-Aware Evaluation of LLMs

Apply for a 3-year PhD scholarship in Culture-Aware Evaluation of Large Language Models at the University of Copenhagen, funded by the Danish AI initiative.

The Centre for Language Technology at the University of Copenhagen is offering a 3-year PhD scholarship starting on 1 September 2025 or soon after. The selected candidate will be co-supervised by the Centre for Language Technology and the Department of Computer Science.

The scholarship is funded by the AI initiative ‘Sikker platform til udvikling af transparente danske sprogmodeller’ (‘secure platform for the development of Danish language models’), part of the AI Strategy launched in 2024 by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. The candidate will be affiliated with the ‘Danish Foundation Models’ project group, a collaboration between several major Danish universities.
