The Research Training Group 2853 ‘Neuroexplicit Models of Language, Vision, and Action’ at Saarland University is seeking multiple PhD students to join their research team in Fall 2025.
Neuroexplicit models combine the strengths of neural and human-interpretable models to advance research in natural language processing, computer vision, and planning and reinforcement learning.
- Positions are available for four years at the TV-L E13 100% pay scale.
- Successful candidates will be jointly supervised by two PhD advisors and have the opportunity to define their own research topics.
- The research group brings together researchers from Saarland University, the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, and other leading research institutions.
