Postdoc Fellowship: Predictive Policing and AI

The Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, in collaboration with FAPESP, is offering a postdoctoral fellowship focused on the intersection of predictive policing, artificial intelligence, and human rights. This research aims to explore the implications of AI-driven predictive policing, with a focus on racial bias, privacy, and public trust.
- Map international standards and Brazilian judgments on predictive policing.
- Analyze existing predictive policing models worldwide.
- Propose solutions to mitigate negative impacts in public schools.
Eligibility criteria include a PhD in Law or a related field completed within the last 7 years, an excellent academic record, and full-time dedication to the project. The fellowship offers a monthly grant of R$ 12,000.00 for 24 months.
