Postdoc Opportunity: Contact-Rich Mobile LocoManipulation at University of Oxford

Postdoc opportunity at University of Oxford’s Dynamic Robot Systems – Control group, focusing on learning-based manipulation for mobile robots. Apply by 1st September 2025.

The Dynamic Robot Systems – Control (DRS-C) group at the Oxford Robotics Institute is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to develop learning-based manipulation approaches for articulated mobile robots.

Key areas of focus include:

• Learning-based whole-body motion planning and control
• Legged multi-contact manipulation and locomotion
• Reinforcement learning and optimization

This project is a collaborative effort with ETH Zurich’s ‘RobotX – Center for Robotics’, featuring joint workshops, visits, and other activities.
