Postdoc Opportunity in Contact-Rich Mobile LocoManipulation at Oxford

Postdoc position in Contact-Rich Mobile LocoManipulation at University of Oxford. Focus on learning-based manipulation approaches for articulated mobile robots.

A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Dynamic Robot Systems – Control (DRS-C) group at the Oxford Robotics Institute. The successful candidate will work on developing learning-based manipulation approaches for articulated mobile robots.

The project involves collaboration with ETH Zurich’s ‘RobotX – Center for Robotics’ and includes a plan for joint workshops and visits.

  • Key areas of focus: learning-based whole-body motion planning and control, legged multi-contact manipulation and locomotion, reinforcement learning, and optimization.
  • Desirable experience in one or more of these areas.
