The BioMaterial Systems group at Uppsala University, Sweden is offering a postdoc position in Machine Learning for Additive Manufacturing. This project, in collaboration with Jens Sjölund’s group, aims to develop machine learning models to improve the efficiency of the Additive Manufacturing process and understand the relationship between process parameters and microstructure in Mg-based alloys.

• Develop machine learning methods that incorporate physical principles.
• Analyze experimental data from powder bed fusion with laser beam (PBF-LB) of Mg-based alloys.
• Publish findings in scientific articles and present at international conferences.
• Potential supervision of students in undergraduate and postgraduate education.
