Postdoc Position in Computational Science for Energy Materials Discovery at DIFFER
The Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research (DIFFER) invites applications for a 4-year postdoctoral position focusing on Computational Science for Energy Materials within the Autonomous Energy Materials Discovery Research Group. The successful candidate will contribute to a cutting-edge computational research program, employing generative AI in materials science for energy applications. They will be responsible for creating novel material compositions and structures using deep learning frameworks. To be eligible for this position, candidates must have completed their PhD in Computational Science, Engineering, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, preferably with a focus on AI-driven research. They should have a strong track record of high-quality research output, experience in developing code using Python, and expertise in using predictive and/or generative machine-learning models.
