PostDoc position in RL Theory at University of Leoben, Austria, for FWF-project ‘Reinforcement Learning: From Satisficing to Optimization’.
We are seeking a highly qualified PostDoc to join our team at the University of Leoben, Austria, for the FWF-project ‘Reinforcement Learning: From Satisficing to Optimization’. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics (probability theory, statistics, optimization, OR) and a keen interest in reinforcement learning theory and algorithm analysis.
The position is available for 1.5 to 2 years, starting in 2025, with a salary of approximately 4900 EUR per month (net 3700 EUR after taxes and insurance contributions). Benefits include health insurance.
Leoben is a charming town in the mountains, with easy access to Graz (45 minutes by train) and Vienna (90 minutes by car or 2 hours by train).
