Postdoc Position on Memory-Augmented LLMs at Idiap

Postdoc position available at Idiap Research Institute for research on memory-augmented LLMs. Strong background in ML/NLP required. Apply by 28 July.

A postdoctoral researcher position is available at Idiap Research Institute as part of the ERC Advanced grant BALM. The researcher will work on representation learning and novel large language model architectures (LLMs) with Dr. James Henderson in the Natural Language Understanding group. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in machine learning or natural language processing and good programming skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Investigating memory-augmented LLMs (e.g., RAG) using recent results in knowledge-graph embedding and representation learning.
• Developing novel applications and evaluating them.
