Postdoc Position: Pioneering Efficient Deep Learning Techniques in Computer Vision at University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh’s School of Informatics is seeking a talented and motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Visual Computing Group under the supervision of Dr. Hakan Bilen. This position offers an excellent opportunity to conduct groundbreaking research at the intersection of computer vision and machine learning.

The project aims to advance the field of deep learning by developing innovative techniques for efficient neural network training. This will encompass generating optimized training data, selecting informative samples, and designing data-efficient architectures for various vision models, as well as vision-language models. Collaborative opportunities abound, both within the School of Informatics and with esteemed institutions such as the University of Oxford and Bristol.
