Postdoctoral Opportunity in AI and Structural Biology

Apply for a 3-year postdoctoral opportunity in AI and structural biology at EMBL-EBI, Cambridge, by 5 September 2025.

A postdoctoral opportunity is available for a STEM professional to work on AI applications in structural biology through the ARISE2 MSCA-funded fellowship programme.

The project, led by the Pereira and Velankar teams, will focus on:

• Generating training and benchmark datasets using structure and sequence data
• Developing AI methods to predict protein function
• Using Knowledge Graph techniques for enriched functional annotations

The position is based at EMBL-EBI, Cambridge, UK, with regular collaboration and visits to VIB AI in Leuven, Belgium, for 3 years.
