A 34-month postdoctoral researcher position is available at Unisinos in southern Brazil, focusing on Reinforcement Learning (RL) with an emphasis on temporal abstraction and options frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (awarded within the last 7 years)
• A strong research background in RL, preferably with experience in options, hierarchical RL, or deep RL
• A proven track record of publishing in top AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, IJCAI, or AAMAS
• Proficiency in coding and experimentation using RL frameworks
• Willingness to reside in the Porto Alegre metro area during the fellowship
