The Robotics Department in the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on a Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) project in the arts, funded by DARPA. The fellow will work with Professor Patricia Alves-Oliveira in the Robot Studio research lab. The position involves independent research, publishing high-quality engineering journals, and traveling to conferences and DARPA events. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Robotics or a related field, experience with ROS, machine learning, human subject testing, and a background in mechatronics.
