PubRob-Fails 2025: Real-World HRI Challenges

PubRob-Fails 2025 workshop invites researchers to share experiences on deploying robots in public and private spaces, with a focus on successes, failures, and lessons learned.

PubRob-Fails 2025, a workshop held in conjunction with IEEE RO-MAN 2025, invites researchers to share their experiences, successes, and failures in deploying robots in public and private spaces.

The workshop will feature keynote talks, lightning talks, and interactive sessions focused on real-world case studies and lessons learned.

  • Key topics include technical and design perspectives, field deployment and evaluation, ethical and cultural considerations, and meta-reflections on ‘error culture’.
  • Submissions are open for full papers (4-6 pages) and short papers/failure reports (2-4 pages) until 15 June 2025.
  • Contributions can be submitted through EasyChair.
