The Institute of Computer Science at Goethe University Frankfurt is offering a PhD position for a Research Assistant (m/f/d) in the DFG project ‘Semiautomated Thematic Text Classification as a Basis for Corpus Linguistic Value-Added Services’. The project aims to develop a deep learning-based topic classification system using the Wikipedia category system and data from the Wikidata project. The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in computer science, computational humanities, computational linguistics or a related field, and experience in the development and testing of NLP or AI methods.
