Research Fellow in Machine Learning Applied To Cancer Research at University of Limerick

The University of Limerick is seeking a Research Fellow to join their Biocomputing and Developmental Systems (BDS) Group within Lero, the Irish Software Engineering Research Institute. The successful candidate will work on the Limerick Digital Cancer Research Centre (LDCRC) initiative, which aims to enhance cancer diagnosis and treatment through digital pathology and data analytics. The fellow will develop Machine Learning systems to process data, maintain computer systems, and collaborate with clinicians and researchers. Essential criteria include a Doctoral Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Analytics or Software Engineering, and at least three years of experience in data analytics and/or machine learning. Desirable criteria include experience working with cancer or medical data, strong programming skills, and excellent communication skills. The position offers a salary of €62,698 – €68,318 p.a. pro rata and closes on 20th May, 2024.
