RSS 2024 Workshop on Semantics for Robotics: From Environment Understanding and Reasoning to Safe Interaction
We are thrilled to announce the RSS 2024 Full Day Workshop on Semantics for Robotics, taking place at the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, on July 15, 2024. This workshop aims to bring together researchers in robot learning, perception, mapping, and control to explore the opportunities and challenges of incorporating semantics into robotic applications. We invite researchers to submit short papers on topics such as perception methods incorporating semantic, geometric, and multi-modal information, contextual reasoning of 3D environments, and safe motion planning and control under semantic uncertainties. Accepted papers will be presented as spotlight talks or posters. The review process will be single-blind, and the paper format should follow the RSS paper template with a minimum length of 2 pages and a maximum length of 4 pages excluding references.
Confirmed speakers for this workshop include Michael Milford, Luca Carlone, Angela Dai, Oier Mees, Masha Itkina, Marco Pavone, Andrea Bajcsy, Koushil Sreenath, Manuel Keppler, and Federico Tombari. The organizing committee includes Angela P. Schoellig, SiQi Zhou, Lukas Brunke, Adam Hall, Federico Pizarro Bejarano, Jingxing Qian, and Sepehr Samavi.
