Second Call for Papers: The First Workshop on Language Models for Low-Resource Languages (LoResLM 2025@COLING)

The First Workshop on Language Models for Low-Resource Languages (LoResLM 2025@COLING) is now open for submissions. The workshop focuses on the development and evaluation of neural language models for low-resource languages. Relevant topics include building language models, adapting existing models, corpora creation, benchmarks, prompting strategies, and applications such as machine translation.

The First Workshop on Language Models for Low-Resource Languages (LoResLM 2025@COLING) invites submissions on the development and evaluation of neural language models for low-resource languages. The workshop will be held on 19th/20th January 2025 and co-located with COLING 2025. Relevant topics include building language models for low-resource languages, adapting existing models, corpora creation, benchmarks, prompting strategies, and applications such as machine translation. The paper submission due date is 5th November 2024, and the camera-ready due date is 13th December 2024. Please submit your papers through Softconf/START.
