The Second Workshop on Patient-Oriented Language Processing (CL4Health) at NAACL 2025 will focus on language processing related to patients’ health and health-related issues. The workshop will feature a shared task, Perspective-aware Healthcare Answer Summarization, and will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
The Second Workshop on Patient-Oriented Language Processing (CL4Health) will be held in conjunction with NAACL 2025 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The workshop aims to provide a venue for research on language processing related to patients’ health and health-related issues concerning the public. The scope of the workshop includes health-related information needs and online behaviors of the public, quality assurance and ethics considerations in language technologies applied to text and other modalities for public consumption, and more.
CL4Health will feature a shared task, Perspective-aware Healthcare Answer Summarization (PerAnsSumm), which introduces a novel perspective-specific answer summarization task within a CQA setup. The task will use the Perspective-aware healthcare Answer SuMmarizAtion (PUMA) dataset, a corpus of medical question-answer pairs created by the task organizers.
