Lancaster University’s School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking Senior Research Associates for ‘MARS: Mathematics for AI in Real-world Systems’.

MARS is a £13m Research England-funded project focusing on dynamical mathematical modelling and AI.

• Applicants should have a PhD in mathematics or a related field.
• Propose a three-year research project with substantial mathematical content.
• Potential applications include cyber security, engineering, and health.

These are full-time, three-year positions. Closing date: 24th August 2025.
