Showcase Your Innovative Machine Learning Research at ECML PKDD 2024 Demo Session!
ECML PKDD 2024, the premier European conference on Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery in Databases, is inviting submissions for its Demo Track. This is an excellent opportunity to present working systems based on cutting-edge machine learning and data mining technology, and receive direct feedback from the research community.
Your submission should describe a system that goes beyond basic statistics and leverages machine learning techniques and knowledge discovery processes in a natural setting. Commercial software systems are not acceptable. Accepted demo papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published by Springer Verlag in the “Lecture Notes in Computer Science” (LNCS) series.
To submit your proposal, visit the submission site here and select the track “Demo”. For demo submissions, a single-blind review process will be applied, meaning authors’ identities will be known to reviewers. Your paper must provide adequate information on the system’s components and the way the system is operated, including screenshots and a use case.
A successful demonstration paper should address the following questions:
- What are the innovative aspects, or in what way/area does it represent the state of the art?
- Who are the target users, and why is the system interesting/useful for them?
- If there are similar/related pieces of software, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the one presented?
Demonstration submissions can be up to four pages long, including a URL linking to a demonstration video of at most five minutes showing and explaining the execution of the system. Submissions must be written in English and formatted according to the Springer LNCS guidelines. Author instructions, style files, and a copyright form can be downloaded here.
