SIGNLL Invites Proposals for CoNLL Shared Task 2025

The Special Interest Group on Natural Language Learning (SIGNLL) is inviting proposals for the CoNLL Shared Task 2025. The shared task has been a regular feature of the Conference on Computational Natural Language Learning (CoNLL) since 1999, providing a platform for systematic evaluation of participating systems in natural language learning and processing.

Proposals should focus on theoretically, cognitively, and scientifically motivated approaches to computational linguistics and should contain information about the organizing committee, the shared task, data selection and preparation, evaluation procedure, ethical or licensing issues, and any other relevant information. Proposals should be submitted by email to proposals@signll.org by October 1, 2024.

A tentative timeline for the CoNLL Shared Task 2025 is provided, with the deadline for proposals on October 1, 2024, and the submission of system description papers on April 22, 2025.
