Special Issue on Natural Language for Artificial Intelligence in the Era of LLMs

The Italian Journal of Computational Linguistics (IJCoL) is inviting submissions for a special issue on Natural Language for Artificial Intelligence in the Era of LLMs. The deadline for manuscript submission is 1st July 2024, and the latest acceptance deadline for all papers is 1st October 2024. The special issue is guest-edited by Elisa Bassignana, Dominique Brunato, Marco Polignano, and Alan Ramponi. Topics of interest include robustness and generalization of LLMs, diversity and inclusion, the role of linguistics, benchmarking and evaluation, explainability and interpretability, domain-specific applications, knowledge representation and reasoning, machine translation, applications to the Italian language and under-studied languages, dialogue systems, and ethical and social implications.
