Submission Open for RSS 2024 Workshop on Semantic Reasoning and Goal Understanding in Robotics (SemRob)

We are excited to announce the call for papers for the 1st Workshop on Semantic Reasoning and Goal Understanding in Robotics (SemRob), to be held at the 20th Robotics Science and Systems conference (RSS 2024) in Delft, Netherlands, on 19 July 2024. The workshop aims to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners from different communities to discuss new hybrid methodologies for semantic reasoning and abstract goal understanding in robotics. We invite paper submissions on various topics, including learning semantically-rich and generalizable robot state representations, reasoning mechanisms for generalization in open-vocabulary contexts, and combining foundation models with AI reasoning structures for robotics tasks.
