Submit to MWE 2025: 21st Workshop on Multiword Expressions

Submit your research on multiword expressions to MWE 2025, a workshop on multiword expressions, held in conjunction with NAACL 2025.

Don’t miss the opportunity to present your research on multiword expressions at the 21st Workshop on Multiword Expressions (MWE 2025)!

The workshop, organized by SIGLEX, will be held on May 3 or 4, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, U.S.A., as a hybrid event (on-site & on-line).

  • MWE processing to enhance end-user applications, including Machine Translation, simplification, language learning, and social media mining.

  • MWE processing and identification in general language, specialized languages, and domains, such as multiword terminology extraction.

  • MWE processing in low-resource languages, including resource creation and sharing, and multilingual benchmarks for MWE identification.

  • MWE identification and interpretation in Large Language Models (LLMs), including implicit and explicit representation.

  • New and enhanced representation of MWEs in language resources and computational models of compositionality.

Submission formats include archival submissions (long and short papers) and non-archival submissions of abstracts. Papers should be submitted via the workshop’s submission page https://openreview.net/group?id=aclweb.org/NAACL/2025/Workshop/MWE.

Important dates include paper submission deadline (February 13, 2025), notification of acceptance (March 8, 2025), and camera-ready papers due (March 17, 2025).
