Join us at the Symposium on the language of foreign language teaching materials and reference works, taking place on November 7, 2025, at Osnabrück University in Germany.

This symposium aims to provide a platform for presenting and discussing new studies on the language of foreign language teaching materials. We welcome contributions in English, German, French, or Spanish, in the form of presentations or posters.

• Empirical examinations of textbooks, language learning apps, and other teaching materials
• Reference works designed for foreign language teaching, such as learner dictionaries and pedagogical grammars
• Key concepts like authenticity, pedagogical norms, and the relationship between teaching materials and syllabi

Submissions from early career researchers are encouraged. Following the symposium, participants will be invited to contribute to an edited volume or special issue.
