The 4th Workshop on Arabic Corpus Linguistics (WACL-4) – Call for Papers
The 4th Workshop on Arabic Corpus Linguistics (WACL-4) will be held in conjunction with COLING 2025 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners working on various aspects of Arabic dialects, including corpus development, natural language processing techniques, large language models, morphological and syntactical challenges, dialect identification, speech recognition, machine translation, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and information extraction.
WACL-4 invites submissions of two types: long papers (up to 8 pages) presenting substantial, original, completed, and unpublished work, and short papers (up to 4 pages) describing a small focused contribution, negative results, or system demonstrations. The submission deadline is 10 October 2024, and the notification of paper acceptance will be on 1 November 2024. The workshop will take place on 20 January 2025.
