The Initiative for Data and Artificial Intelligence (IDIA) at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM), University of Chile, is opening two full-time academic positions in Theory and Applications of Data Science & AI. One position is reserved exclusively for women to foster gender equity in academia.

• Research areas include Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Autonomous Agents, and Responsible AI.
• Responsibilities include conducting impactful research, teaching, supervising students, and building industry partnerships.
• Salary range for Assistant Professor: CLP$3.4M–4.0M/month (~USD 3,670–4,320 before taxes).
