Two New Opportunities: Professorships in Robotics and AI at University of Turku for Climate Change and Water Sector Innovation

Discover the chance to make a difference in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence, while contributing to groundbreaking research for climate change and water resource management at the University of Turku, Finland. Our Faculty of Technology is expanding its research team with two tenure-track professorships, each focusing on distinct areas:

  • Robotics with Machine Learning Expertise

    For those with a strong background in robotics, particularly aerial, ground or surface robotics, we invite you to apply for this professorship. Your role will include utilizing machine learning techniques to create innovative solutions for the water sector.

  • Machine Learning in Robotics

    If your expertise lies in machine learning, we encourage you to apply for this professorship. Your responsibilities will include applying machine learning solutions to robotics research, with a focus on the water sector and climate change.

Both positions are affiliated with the Digital Waters (DIWA) Flagship, a leading research and innovation ecosystem dedicated to supporting decision-making and advancing the water sector with digital technologies. Join our dynamic team of nearly 50 researchers and help us reach our goal of over 60 researchers by the end of 2024.
