Two Postdoctoral Research Fellow Positions in ML, Dynamical Systems, Data-Assimilation, and Diffusion at National University of Singapore
The National University of Singapore is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Fellows to join the Department of Statistics & Data Science. The project aims to explore the intersection of data assimilation and generative models. Learn more and apply.
The Department of Statistics & Data Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking two Postdoctoral Research Fellows. The positions are for a two-year contract term, with the possibility of renewal based on review. The research themes are flexible, but the primary focus is on statistical methods for data assimilation of high-dimensional time-series data and generative modeling. The project aims to explore the intersection of data assimilation and generative models, with the goal of enhancing the robustness and accuracy of methods for data-assimilation of high-dimensional dynamical systems, as well as developing new sampling algorithms.
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or a closely related field, strong experience in Python, experience with at least one deep-learning framework, a demonstrated record of academic publications, and research experience that aligns with the research programme.
To apply, please contact Alex Thiery at a.h.thiery at nus.edu.sg. The positions will remain open until the right candidates are found. Learn more about the position here.
