Upcoming Sessions of the ILFC Seminar: Formal and Computational Linguistics

The LIFT 2 research group is hosting two new sessions of the ILFC seminar on the interactions between formal and computational linguistics. The seminars will be held online via Zoom. Learn more about the ILFC seminar.

The first session, on June 12th, 2024, will feature Kenny Smith from the University of Edinburgh. His talk, titled ‘The evolution of linguistic regularities and exceptions’, will explore how the cycle of learning and use in languages can explain linguistic features and exceptions.
